Common questions

Things people ask before ordering

Anything else worth answering — write us at jj@jimmyjamesnorth.com.

Default to HD Metal if the image has strong color and contrast — wildlife, light on water, vivid skies. Default to Canvas if you want something warmer that fits a traditional room. Brushed Metal rewards images with sky or water that pick up the aluminum grain. Acrylic is the gallery-grade choice when depth matters most — underwater, night, anything with shadow detail.

Yes. Metal, brushed metal, and acrylic prints arrive with a float-mount system pre-installed — they sit roughly half an inch off the wall and need a single screw or anchor. Canvas arrives gallery-wrapped with a hanging wire on the back.

No frame is required for any of the four finishes. If you'd prefer a traditional matted-and-framed print, write to us — we can quote that separately.

The most common rule of thumb: a single piece above a sofa or bed should be roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below it. Standard 7-foot sofa pairs with a 24×36″ or 30×40″. A 20×30″ is the most popular all-purpose size — large enough to anchor a wall, small enough for a hallway or office.

If you're hanging a grouping, smaller sizes work better — 11×14″ or 16×20″.

Production runs 5–7 business days. Shipping to the US and Canada adds another 2–3 business days. Order to door is typically 7–10 business days. You'll receive a tracking email when the print leaves the production facility.

Free standard shipping to every state in the United States and every province in Canada. International orders aren't currently supported through the website — write to us if you're outside North America and we'll work it out.

Photograph the damage and the packaging within 48 hours and email the photos to jj@jimmyjamesnorth.com. We replace damaged prints at no cost. Custom-made-to-order pieces aren't eligible for general return, but anything that arrives damaged or defective is on us.

For multi-unit orders, hospitality projects, or interior-design specifications, write to jj@jimmyjamesnorth.com with the project scope. We can pull custom sizes, work to a design spec sheet, and discount at volume.
